Annotation
The degree programme includes the specialisations 'Vocational Guidance', 'Case Management' and 'Participation in Working Life' (offered only at the Mannheim campus). The course of study is divided into five trimester attendance phases which last for four months each and within this, into four practical trimesters, which also last for four months each. The course is offered at the Mannheim and Schwerin campuses.
Admission requirements
Applicants with a university entrance qualification with an average grade of 2.4 (entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences) and/or 2.9 (secondary school leaving certificate). A multi-stage selection procedure will decide on admission to the course. Section 59, para. 1 to 3 of the State Higher Education Act of Baden-Württemberg also provides for the professionally qualified applicants to be admitted to university. Before starting their studies, students conclude a training contract with the German Federal Employment Agency. Important: Please apply to an employment agency near your place of residence. The agency will provide you with information regarding current application deadlines. Applications for a study place cannot be submitted to the university directly.
