Admission requirements

The admission requirements are met by applicants who: a) have completed a Bachelor's degree lasting at least six semesters in Education and Social Science (including courses in Social Work) resulting in a total of no less than 180 ECTS credit points, with Education and Social Science elements amounting to at least 36 ECTS credit points including Education and Social Science research methods in the amount of at least 10 ECTS credit points, and have done so with an overall grade of 'good' or the ECTS grade B or better\; or b) have completed a previous Bachelor's degree consisting of multiple sub-courses with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters and a total of 180 credit points, or a degree course which is at least equivalent to this with a grade of at least 2.5 or better in the sub-courses that enable access to the degree, and can provide proof of at least 86 credit points in one or more relevant Education or Social Science sub-courses that enable access to the Master's degree in Childhood, Youth, Social Services. Of this, proof must be provided of Education and Social Sciences elements amounting to no less than 36 ECTS credit points including Education and Social Sciences research methods in the amount of at least 10 ECTS credit points. The average grade will be determined by the arithmetic mean of the module grades and, where applicable, the final work submitted as part of the sub-courses that enable access to the degree. If the admission requirements have not yet been met in full by the time the application is submitted, evidence thereof must be provided at the latest when the student enrols.
