First, a training contract is concluded between the company and the applicant, which must be presented when enrolling at the university. At the University of Siegen, students complete the 'normal' bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and also have an apprenticeship in a company, which leads to a professional double qualification. Prerequisite for the admission to the course is the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the subject-related entrance qualification or the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences + determination of the special suitability (observe deadlines!).
