Admission requirements
Requirements for admission to the Master's programme are: 1. Successfully completed university degree or equivalent with at least six semesters of standard period of study in mathematics or a related subject with an average grade of at least 'good' (2.5) 2. Proof of in-depth knowledge in mathematics amounting to at least 18 credit points corresponding to the advanced module BV of the Bachelor's degree programme in Mathematics at the University of Regensburg. 3 . Proof of command of English to language level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)\; Evidence may also be provided by way of an equivalent TOEFL or IELTS test, or by other equivalent certificates. 4. For applicants with a grade lower than 'good' (2.5) or a non-equivalent qualification, the qualification specific to the course will be reviewed through an aptitude procedure.
