The degree in the polyvalent dual-subject Bachelor's degree course qualifies students for entry into professional life and, DEPENDING ON THE DEGREE COURSE PLANNING, for admission to subject-specific Master's degree courses, including, in particular, the Master's degree courses at Osnabrück University European Governance: Market-Power-Community and Political Science: Democratic Governance and Civilian Society. In the dual-subject Bachelor's degree course, alongside the core subject of Political Science and one other core subject, an interdisciplinary professional qualification area is completed which comprises the acquisition of key competencies based on the "4-Schritte +" ("4 steps +") model. Depending on the professional goal, core subjects that can be combined are: English Studies/English, Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geoinformatics, Geography/Earth Sciences, German Studies/German, History, Computer Science, Catholic Theology/Religion, Art Education/Art, Art History, Latin, Musicology/Music, Philosophy, Physics, Romance Studies/French, Romance Studies/Italian, Romance Studies/Spanish, Sports Science/Sport Environmental Systems Science or Economics.
