The Bachelor's degree in Professional Training is aimed at students with the career goal of teaching at vocational schools with the subject area Health Sciences, Care Management or Cosmetology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Metals Technology or Ecotrophology, among others, since the degree qualifies students for the Master's degree course Teaching Qualification for Vocational Schools. The degree also qualifies students to enter a profession. Professional qualification for occupations relating to professional subject areas of Health Sciences, Cosmetology and Care Management, for example in extra-curricular educational institutions or for research, development, training, business or marketing activities, is awarded exclusively by the Universität Osnabrück on the basis of the acquisition of well-founded academic skills in one of these subject areas, in Mathematics and in Vocational and Economics Education.
