Target group

Graduates with proof of degree a) in a subject-relevant Bachelor's programme in Physics or b) in a physics-related programme with 240 credit points or proof of a similar German or foreign professionally qualifying university degree. A programme is deemed physics-related if at least 90 CP have been completed in physics subjects.

Annotation

Research is conducted mainly in working groups at the Department. An orientation phase serves to become familiar with the working groups. Candidates are free, to the extent of their options, to choose a field of work. The preparation and writing of the Master’s thesis is the central component of the programme. To a lesser extent, students can participate in courses
