Annotation
Law is one of the oldest sciences. Throughout the centuries, philosophers and legal scholars have dealt with questions of justice and internal and external peace. The study of law at universities is complex and, in addition to the history of law, philosophy of law and sociology of law, includes the major areas of civil law, public law and criminal law, including the respective procedural law and in each case with its international references. The course of studies concludes with the first examination, which is divided into the state compulsory part examination and a university part (main subject area examination). The latter offers students the opportunity to specialise.
