Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here: https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor The minor subject of Art History will provide you with both basic knowledge and in-depth knowledge in the areas of painting, sculpture, architecture, graphics, arts and crafts as well as the intermedia manifestations of modern and current art. The origin, appearance, function and effect of works from late antiquity to the contemporary art of Europe and (from the 16th Century) America will form the focus of scientific interest. For this, you will learn basic methods for the analysis and communication of works of art. Besides a variety of subjects, the minor subject offers the possibility of focusing on art and cultural science.
