In the main subject History, you will acquire the ability to perceive this change and sharpen critical instruments for its recording, analysis and evaluation. In the course of your studies, you will examine developments of the past and will be able to explain processes and compare them across cultures. You will develop a historical-critical perception. Depending on the matter at hand, you will apply various methods that enable direct access to past reality and critical discussion of research opinions. Overall, students who study History acquire a unique intellectual tool kit. Students deepen their ability to think in a differentiated way and thus receive an interdisciplinary education that provides a variety of benefits for the professional world as well as for the state and society.
