Minor subject in the combination Bachelor's degree (in cooperation with the Faculty of Theology Fulda) - only possible in combination with a major subject Standard period of study: 6 or 8 semesters (depending on combination) The degree depends on the major subject chosen. Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree can be found here: https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/studium/studieninteressierte/studienmoeglichkeiten/kombibachelor The minor subject "Catholic Religion and Culture" offers you a university education in the various disciplines of Catholic Theology and, due to the encyclopaedic nature of the subject, teaches interpretation, analysis, action and communication skills. This is made possible by the introduction to different areas of theology (historical, biblical, systematic and practical theology). In addition to a biblical, systematic and theological introduction, your individual interests can be served. Basic modules teach the subject-specific requirements for academic work, which can be supplemented by subject-specific perspectives in advanced modules and applied in in-depth modules. You can choose the specialisation within the theological fields yourself and thus integrate the degree course precisely into your individual combination of subjects. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/fb09/igs/arbeitsgruppen/sprechwissenschaft/marskills/was-ist-marskills).
