The research-oriented and practice-oriented, quantitatively-focused Master's degree programme in "International Taxation and Public Finance" provides students with knowledge in national and international tax law, corporate taxation and finance, combining business and economic topics. Students are familiarised with scientific economic methods and the evaluation and analysis of data (econometrics). The focus is on acquiring advanced knowledge to deal with and analyse tax and fiscal issues and problems in companies as well as private and governmental organisations. The degree course combines sound and practical knowledge in the field of tax law and tax theory with sophisticated scientific methods in the field of microeconomics and data analysis.
