Annotation
The aim of the degree programme is to acquire a broad but at the same time detailed and critical understanding of specialist knowledge and the ability to work independently using scientific methods, to familiarise oneself independently with the many different tasks of application, research or teaching-related fields of activity and to cope with the frequently changing tasks that arise in professional life. The Master's degree programme complements the preceding Bachelor's degree programme in terms of content and goes well beyond it in terms of quality. Students will acquire the skills to critically examine opinions in their subject area, to solve current problems in a scientifically structured manner, taking into account related disciplines and, to present their solutions to colleagues and laypersons and to communicate their knowledge. They will be able to creatively develop their subject area beyond the current state of the art and acquire new knowledge themselves. Graduates will be able to make scientifically sound decisions, taking into account societal and ethical insights. They will be able to assume responsibility in a team. In particular, the holistic approach to technical-organisational and business management contexts sets the Master's degree programme in Industrial Engineering Logistics apart.
