General higher education entrance qualification or equivalent qualification. There are two tracks with different language requirements: a) German track: German as the mother tongue or German at level B2 of the 'Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe'. English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). b) English track: English as the mother tongue or English at level B2. Urgently recommended at the beginning of semester: at least A1 in German, but this is not mandatory for application. An aptitude assessment procedure is carried out with candidates who meet these requirements in accordance with the regulations. Applicants must submit the relevant documents required for this purpose.

Aptitude assessment procedure Letter of motivation in English or German stating the personal and subject-specific reasons for the application and justifying the choice of the intended degree programme with regard to its international orientation and the programme-related career goals. Applicants who need a visa for Germany are recommended to submit their complete application as early as possible, because a visa can only be applied for with admission. Two months usually pass between application and admission.
