Annotation
In this degree programme, students acquire in-depth specialist knowledge in the core areas of computer science. This includes: Databases, Programming, Mathematics, Architecture of Computers and Computer Networks and System Programming. Current socially relevant computer science topics also include, for example, multimedia, bioinformatics, security and human-machine interfaces. Areas of study can be determined by students themselves. For example, it is possible to focus on the areas of artificial intelligence, visualisation or cybersecurity.
Admission requirements
- General higher education entrance qualification or equivalent qualification. There are two tracks with different language requirements: a) German track: German as the mother tongue or German at level B2 of the 'Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe'. English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). b) English track: English as the mother tongue or English at level B2. Urgently recommended at the beginning of semester: at least A1 in German, but this is not mandatory for application. An aptitude assessment procedure is carried out with candidates who meet these requirements in accordance with the regulations.
