Admission requirements
Proof of an above-average degree (grade of at least 2.5) in a course of study of at least 3 years at a state or state-recognised higher education institution in a subject relevant for the Master's degree course in Ethnology and Sociology, such as Ethnology, Sociology or Cultural Anthropology or a comparable degree course (minimum degree Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree). The decision on the fulfilment of the stated requirements is made by the selection committee. - A letter of motivation of at least two pages in length (A4), providing information about the reasons for the choice of the Master's degree course in Ethnology and Sociology as well as the expectations of the applicant for the academic studies and their goals in the academic studies. The letter of motivation may also be written in English.
