Annotation

An interesting combination of language, culture, business and research: The four-semester Master's degree course in “Intercultural Communication and Economics” with a specialisation in French or Spanish is interdisciplinary and combines Romance Studies with an in-depth Economics component. The content is mainly taught in French or Spanish. Part-time study is quite possible due to the course of study in this degree course. Upon request, you can register for part-time studies in accordance with Section 19 (2) Hesse Higher Education Act (HessHG). The specific provisions for part-time studies will then apply. Counselling by the subject-specific student advice service is recommended. In the field of Romance Studies, students acquire in-depth expertise in French and Spanish linguistic and literary studies as well as in cultural and regional studies. In the field of economics, they go through modules such as Strategic Management, Controlling or Finance. The basis of the scientific education is sovereign foreign language skills, which traditionally have a very high value at the University of Kassel. Students benefit not only from the interdisciplinary but also from the international orientation of the Institute of Romance Studies by receiving highly professional foreign language training through native speakers, studying abroad or completing an internship.
