The Master's degree programme in Computer Science gives Bachelor's graduates the opportunity to specialise their knowledge and skills in a four-semester course and to specialise in a current subject area of Computer Science. The Master's degree programme has a stronger research bias. Students acquire in-depth knowledge in practical, technical and theoretical computer science as well as in mathematics/electrical engineering. The majority of studies are characterised by the choice of a specialisation. Are currently offered Computational Intelligence and Data Analytics Software Development Computer Science for the Digital Society Environmental Computing as well as the possibility of compiling a specialisation individually according to one's own interests in consultation with a mentor. The Master's degree programme in Computer Science opens up a large number of career opportunities for graduates in future-oriented industries as well as the start of scientific research with the prospect of a doctorate. Part-time study is quite possible due to the course of study in this degree course. Upon request, you can register for part-time studies in accordance with Section 19 (2) Hesse Higher Education Act (HessHG). The specific provisions for part-time studies will then apply. Counselling by the subject-specific student advice service is recommended.
