Target group
The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the field of History with a focus on Media Studies or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.
Admission requirements
A subject related requirement is proof of academic achievements in the field of history with a focus on medieval studies in the scope of at least 60 credit points and a final grade of at least 'good'. Furthermore, the Latinum and language skills in two modern foreign languages at the B1 level are required. The choice of the major 'Medieval Latin' additionally requires corresponding language skills in Medieval Latin. International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
