Target group

The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Courses in the field of German Studies with a focus on Literary Studies, Philosophy or a Bachelor's degree equivalent to 180 credits and subject-related studies at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of academic achievements in the field of German literature or philosophy amounting to at least 50 credit points as well as language skills in two foreign languages (in the case of modern foreign languages at level B1). International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
