These include professional groups with a first university degree, e.g. in: Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology, Social Sciences, Bioinformatics, Communication and Media Sciences, Health Sciences (including Public Health), Nursing Sciences

Annotation

Due to the focus on eHealth and Communication, the Master's degree course with its part-time character represents a special opportunity for further training in Germany. The teaching content is conveyed in online format via eLearning and online seminars, so that the degree course can be studied across Germany and does not require attendance in Jena. In the first and second semesters there will be an online intensive week and at the end an in-person weekend in Jena. A sustainable network will connect lecturers and students with cooperation partners and sponsors and provide long-term support.

Admission requirements

University degree with at least 240 credit points (ECTS) or comparable degree (Master's degree, Diploma, State Examination, etc.) from the field of health professions including medicine, psychology, pharmacy, nutritional sciences, (bio) computer science, public health or communication sciences. Evidence of at least one year of relevant work in the field of healthcare must be provided.
