The Bachelor's degree programme German Studies comprises linguistic and literary studies as well as media and cultural studies content. Based on this, the degree programme provides central key qualifications for a wide range of professional fields of humanities scholars (e.g. archives, libraries and museums\; Educational and cultural institutions\; Information Services and New Media\; Journalism and public relations\; Publishing) as well as a sound basis for a subsequent Master's degree programme. In addition to a well-founded specialist academic education for the reflective use of German language and literature, practical and project-like forms of work are therefore integrated into the course of study. The professional offer is supplemented by a required work placement/internship.
