Annotation
Nutritional Science is concerned with the physiological properties of nutrition and its relationship to human nutrition. Central contents of the course include the mechanisms of healthy nutrition on a molecular and cellular level, as well as an analysis of biochemical and physiological nutritional processes in the human organism and the role of food and food ingredients for nutrition. Basic knowledge of Economics and Business is also taught. An essential concern is also the consolidation of knowledge of modern nutritional research and its connection to the areas of Human Medicine, Food Science and Public Health.
