Target group
The Master's degree course in Gerontology (M.Sc.) at FAU aims at interested persons with a university or certificate of academic degree related to gerontology who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of issues relating to ageing research. Prospective students should attach importance to scientific interdisciplinary work and to practical qualifications oriented towards the needs of older people.
Annotation
The Master's degree course in Gerontology (M.Sc.) is offered as a full-time (4 semesters) course\; Start of studies: Winter semester) or part-time studies (6 semesters\; Start of studies: Summer and winter semester) are offered. The courses are held as block courses, so that career-integrated studies are possible.
Admission requirements
-\tCompleted Bachelor's, Master's or Diplom degree (or comparable degree) at a German or foreign university or higher education institution -\tGerontological reference through first degree or profession as well as knowledge in social science research methods desirable
