A subject-specific academic degree within the meaning of Section 35 (1) (1) of the General Study and Examination Regulations for the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Courses of the Philosophical Faculty and the Department of Theology of Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) (ABMStPO/Phil) is a degree with at least 70 ECTS points in Sinology. 2In particular, Bachelor’s degree courses in two or three subjects as well as Diploma degrees in Sinology and other Bachelor’s degree courses with a Sinology component of at least 60 ECTS points, of which at least 20 ECTS are attributed to subject-specific content, are regarded as academic degrees in related subjects or not significantly different academic degrees within the meaning of Section 35 (1) (1) in combination with para. (2) ABMStPO/Phil
