Target group

The study programme is aimed at students who have already earned a first degree (e.g. BBA) in one of the relevant disciplines. Generally the degree course requires students to actively work in an inter-disciplinary way, to become actively acquainted with different research perspectives and acquainted with new methods in a focussed way.

Application periods: for the summer semester: Mid-November of the previous year until 1 March for the winter semester: Start/mid-May until 15 September Please note: Applications will be processed immediately upon receipt. Early application allows for early notification of admission to the degree programme or, if applicable, notification of rejection of the application. Applications are submitted via the website of the Student Office. This is not open all year round. The corresponding deadlines can be obtained from there.

Degree course specific admission requirements: Registration or selection procedure in accordance with PO: 1. An above-average professionally qualifying undergraduate degree obtained in Germany or abroad in a course of study relating to Humanities, Cultural Studies, Social Studies or Law or a comparable or higher degree level with an above-average overall grade. 2. The existence of language skills in two European languages at level B1 CEFR of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; one of the foreign languages can be Latin.
