In the first and second semester, no modules have to be completed. Credit from the medical assistant (MFA) training (first semester) and the VERAH (care assistant in a GP’s practice)/NäPa (non-medical practice assistant) further training (second semester) allows entry directly into the third semester. Admission requirements
General higher education entrance qualification (allgemeine Hochschulreife) (school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education - Abitur), entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or other previous education recognised as equivalent (e.g. completed vocational training – either with three years of professional experience or with completed advanced further training) and at the time of commencing studies proof of the following: Completed vocational training as a medical assistant or comparable vocational training in healthcare (dental assistant, surgical technical assistant, nursing) and current employment in a GP’s practice (full-time and part-time employment), with the exception of interruptions in employment due to, for example, parental/caregiver leave or illness. Tuition fees: EUR 10,350.00 due in 30 monthly instalments of EUR 345 Examination fee: EUR 500.00 one-off payment (on registration for final thesis; if the final thesis is repeated, the examination fee will be re-calculated) Total costs: EUR 10,850.00, includes tuition fees and examination fee
