Formal requirement for admission to a Bachelor of Arts course at the FHM is an entrance qualification for general higher education or universities of applied science. Working professionals with an appropriate professional qualification can also commence studies. Possible qualifications for admission to a course:Higher education entrance qualification Entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences Master craftsperson Master craftsperson candidate with entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences Business school graduate (awarded by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, HWK) Business school graduate (awarded by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, IHK) Persons who have completed a 2-year training course at a specialised school Specialised Commercial Qualification (awarded by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Chamber of Trades and Crafts, IHK or HWK) State-examined business school graduate There are no course entrance restrictions (numerus clausus) for Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses at the FHM. Instead, the most qualified applicants are selected in an internal selection procedure of the university. An elaborate procedure similar to the personnel selection procedure of modern commercial enterprises has been developed by the FHM for this purpose.
