Admission requirements
For the training-integrated variant (with commercial training parallel to the degree course): Training or study contract with a company that has a cooperation agreement with Bremen University of Applied Sciences for the degree course For the variant with practical training (industry-focused degree course without commercial training): study contract concluded with a company that has a cooperation agreement with Bremen University of Applied Sciences for the academic degree, as well as a 10-week internship in a shipyard or in a shipyard and at a company in the shipbuilding supplier industry. The work placement must be proved at the latest by the end of the fourth semester. Completed professional training as a construction mechanic (discipline: Metal and Ship Building Technology) or a work placement undertaken in the 11th grade of a vocational secondary school in one of these professions replaces the work placement requirement.
