Annotation
Mechanical Engineering / Production and Management is a contemporary, practical and production-oriented mechanical engineering course. It combines solid mechanical engineering with future-oriented production techniques and modern management methods in an exemplary manner. You will have access to the most modern production facilities. Whether 3D printers, laser machining centres, machine tools, robots and automation systems or die casting machines. In our laboratories you can test your technical talent on all these machines. In addition, you will gain insight into the most modern methods of contemporary production management and become familiar with the Toyota Production System as well as methods of lean management. Our students are the production technologists and production managers of tomorrow. What makes this degree course special? It has a modular structure and in the first semesters is closely linked to the Mechanical Engineering / Business and Management degree course. Students on both courses often find themselves in joint lectures during their undergraduate studies, which makes it easy for them to learn about the other course. If you are interested, you can change your degree course without any problems due to the close interlocking.
