Bachelor's degree with in-depth practical phases Would you like to make contacts with potential employers early on? Do you want to put learned knowledge directly into practice? The practice-integrated study model combines Engineering studies with extensive practical phases with a practice partner of your choice. You will achieve a specific profile for your career. The compulsory modules of the course provide students with competencies in Medical Laboratory Diagnostics, in Quality and Data Management, as well as in regulatory issues. Compulsory elective modules also enable you to sharpen your profile. The attendance times of the course are reduced to a minimum. Because of the distance learning, the learning times are very flexible. The practical parts start from the third semester. The large practical components from the sixth semester onwards can be completed in the students' “own” company or with other cooperation partners of the TH Bingen. Those returning to work thus have the opportunity to start studying in the practice-integrating model and to once again gain a foothold in the professional environment through the practical phases. It is possible to switch between a study model that integrates practice and work at any time. The degree concludes with the academic degree of a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) and can be continued in the corresponding Master's degree programme if successful. With successful completion of the course modules, the certificates "Medical Laboratory Analytics", "Data Management" and "Quality Management" can be obtained.
