General admission requirements in accordance with the State Higher Education Act (Landeshochschulgesetz) are: General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification certificate, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or equivalent foreign educational qualifications. Vocational training in a state-recognised degree course-specific training occupation is taken into account in the application process. A very good academic degree in training vocation, as well as an excellent letter of motivation, can lead to an increase in the university entrance qualification grade.
