WHAT CAN I EXPECT? Career-integrated and flexible programme Sound knowledge of business administration Global financial management, complex relationships of markets The degree course teaches business management skills and prepares students for the special requirements of global financial management and/or operational management. Students are made aware of current developments in the financial sector and develop an understanding of the complex relationships between markets. Most of the time must be invested in study material based self-study and e-learning elements. Classroom teaching takes place on Saturdays. Together, this guarantees a high-quality and application-oriented course.. It enables a competitive edge in the work market - through the compatibility of a complete employment biography with career-enhancing continuing education. COURSE CONTENTS The career-integrated Bachelor’s degree programme teaches basic knowledge of Business Administration. The students are given in depth training in, among other things: Management Accounting. Corporate Tax Theory and Controlling, but also Business Mathematics, Statistics and Marketing. An understanding of the complex relationships between markets Sensitisation to current developments in the financial sector Preparation for the special requirements of global financial management and operational management The special features of the degree course are the two important modules Business Ethics and Business English, whose teaching is spread over three semesters. The contents of the modules Marketing, Business Skills and Business Computer Science are predominantly taught in English. In the 6th and 7th semester students can choose among other elective modules such as Crisis Management, Annual Financial Statement Analysis or International Management. The content is conveyed through lectures, but above all through e-learning and distance learning elements. The practical exercise part will mostly include team work and project group work. In addition to the transfer of competences, this supports the interchange of experiences and network building. VOCATIONAL PERSPECTIVES AND POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS Management with personnel responsibility Controller, financial analyst or consultant International non-profit organisations, associations or medium-sized companies The graduates are qualified in business administration and have additional qualifications to answer financial and general management-related questions. With the achieved Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) career paths open up as controller, financial analyst or consultant, management consultant as well as in areas of lower and middle management with personnel responsibility. Graduates can work across industries in international non-profit organisations, associations or medium-sized companies;; at banks, savings banks, insurance companies, manufacturing companies, financial service providers or trading companies. But no matter where the lessons are learned: Passion for clients and financial topics is always an important prerequisite for professional success.

Prerequisite is the proof of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, the general higher education entrance qualification, the subject-specific university entrance qualification or an access authorisation recognised as equivalent.
