Annotation
Due to the increasing focus on the market and structural changes in the social services sector and the challenges these bring, the demand on the part of social and diaconal institutions for special management knowledge, which is at the same time linked to corresponding managerial and leadership skills, is constantly increasing. To deal with today's complexity in the social sector, taking into account the diverse life situations of the addressees, qualified specialists/managers are required who are able to react flexibly to societal challenges and make a contribution to the design of sustainable organisations. To this end, the application-oriented Master's degree course teaches complementary management knowledge, paying particular attention to value-oriented and ethical skills as well as the aspect of sustainability. The lectures are held on two weekdays (currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and are supplemented by block lectures (Fridays and Saturdays).
