Annotation
The Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare Studies is generally studied in combination with the BA in Social Work. After a total of 9 semesters, the students have acquired two Bachelor's degrees in Social Welfare Studies and Social Work. Consecration into the diaconic office is possible with both academic degrees.
Admission requirements
University entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification or an equivalent higher education entrance qualification, membership of the Protestant Church, Proof of one year of practical (professional) experience, proof of a volunteer activity of at least 100 hours in (church) youth work, in the church community or diaconal institution, maximum age of 30 years at the start of the course, CV in tabular format, letter of motivation for the desired course. The degree course can also be studied without admission to the diaconate course. Practical activity, volunteering and church membership are then forgone as admission requirements.
