Annotation
Sustainability and sustainable production are considered the most important social challenges of the 21st century. The central questions are: How do we ensure sustainable development paths in practice and which strategies, techniques and instruments are necessary for this? The Master's degree in sustainability, which is based in the field of environmental sciences, will enable you to find answers to the central questions facing society. With the Life Cycle & Sustainability (MLiCS) degree course, we offer you a project-oriented Master's degree course in the field of sustainable development, in which we don't just talk about sustainability, but give you the tools you need to actually implement sustainability. In the Master's degree course MLiCS, you will be trained in this future-oriented field in a practical and interdisciplinary way. The sustainability assessment of products, technologies and companies is the core of the MLiCS Master's degree course (contents of the degree course). As a student, you will learn to know and apply a variety of methods and instruments to make impacts and improvement potentials in value creation systems transparent. You have the opportunity to specialise on your individual interests with electives. In addition to personal support from a dedicated professorial staff, you will also benefit from the university's excellent business and research network in the subject area. The Business School and the Industrial Engineering degree courses at the University of Pforzheim meet the highest international requirements. This is certified by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).
