Annotation
The fashion and textile industry is one of the largest industries in the world. Other than that, there is hardly another industry that is so pronounced in the everyday life of every single person; the know-how, influence and responsibility of fashion designers towards contemporary culture and society are correspondingly great. Creative, intelligent and sustainable solutions are required for all areas of fashion, the foundation of which lies in the right training. Here, craftsmanship meets concentrated creativity, free art meets marketing strategies, teamwork meets the realisation of one's own ideas. Prof. Johann Stockhammer: "Our strength is comprehensive training. We encourage our students to develop their own talents. Small courses, individual specialisations coupled with a broad basic training and a close-knit network of international fashion companies, prepare our graduates optimally for a successful entry into professional life."
