Enrolment in the dual-subject Bachelor's degree is only possible if the applicant cumulatively 1.\tthe higher education entrance qualification certificate (general or restricted qualification to a relevant subject) or the certificate for entrance to universities of applied sciences or evidence of previous education that is recognised as equivalent by legislation or the responsible state authority, or if he or she meets the requirements for applicants who are considered to be qualified as a result of vocational training or those under the regulations on applicants with international educational qualifications. 2st\tas an applicant whose qualifications for admission were not acquired at a German-speaking institution, an adequate command of German. For unrestricted admission to or enrolment on all degree courses, the applicant must prove the language ability required for study. Further details are governed by the current version of the German language proficiency test for access to higher education at the University of Paderborn. 3st\t meets the further admission requirements of the subject-specific provisions. In addition to the admission requirements set out in Section 8 of the General Provisions, knowledge of English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ??(CEFR) is required for Comparative Studies/Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies as part of the dual-subject Bachelor. Proof of language skills is a requirement of enrolment. Furthermore, knowledge of one of the Romance languages ??French, Spanish or Italian is required at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ??(CEFR). The language skills in the Romance language should be demonstrated before enrolment. Proof of foreign language skills in the Romance language must be provided by the time of registration for the advanced modules. Proof must be submitted to the competent subject coordinator and is a prerequisite for participation in the advanced modules. (2) \tEnglish proficiency can be demonstrated, in particular, by means of a Baccalaureate certificate at which level B2 is indicated or through TOEFL (internet-based, 87 points) , IELTS (5.5), Cambridge ESOL (FCE) or Unicert II. In particular, the French language skills can be demonstrated by a Baccalaureate certificate, which indicates B1 level or the DELF B1 (niveau indépendant) certificate and/or Unicert I. \tIn particular, the Spanish language skills can be demonstrated by a Baccalaureate certificate, which indicates B1 level or the DELE B1 (nivel inicial) certificate and/or Unicert I. \tIn particular, the Italian language skills can be demonstrated by a Baccalaureate certificate, which indicates B1 level or the CELI 2-B1 certificate and/or Unicert I. \tA certificate submitted must not be older than a maximum of two years from the beginning of the semester for which registration is requested or in which the first advanced module is taken.
