Admission requirements

(1) Admission requirements for the Master's course in Teaching Musical Instruments: 1. First professionally qualifying degree or an equivalent national or international qualification in the subject area Teaching Musical Instruments\; only qualifications with the following major instrumental subjects are accepted: accordion, recorder, bassoon, flute, guitar, hammered dulcimer, harp, horn, clarinet, piano, contrabass, oboe, organ, kettledrum/drums, trombone, saxophone, trumpet, tuba, viola, violin, violoncello, zither\; 2. Passing an aptitude test at the University of Music and Theatre Munich\; the aptitude procedure serves for determination of the applicant's course-specific aptitude for the Master's course in Teaching Musical Instruments. (2) The major subject selected for the Master's course in Teaching Musical Instruments has to be identical to the major subject of the qualification referred to in (1) 1.
