Annotation
Psychology students learn how perception, thought, feeling and learning work, how behaviour emerges and what role the social environment plays in all of this. Students deal intensively with the basic psychological subjects and receive broad training in the relevant application areas of clinical psychology and psychotherapy, occupational and organisational psychology, health psychology and educational psychology. Elective modules allow students to tailor their studies to their own interests. The Bachelor's degree in Psychology takes into account the professional requirements under Art. 9 of the Psychotherapists Act with the minimum requirements for university teaching and practical assignments and thus qualifies for the Master's degree in Psychotherapy. The programme offers a broad range of theoretical and practical teaching content. Students are therefore taught professional competencies, specific specialist knowledge, inter-disciplinary management principles and method-based academic skills for the field of work which is also orientated in an inter-disciplinary manner. This corresponds to the innovative approach at MSH of learning and working in inter-disciplinary teams and jointly implementing practice-based projects simultaneously.
