Annotation
The Bachelor’s programme in Physiotherapy is offered in the training-integrated study model for physiotherapy students at vocational schools. The course begins with the first day of training at the vocational school and is divided into six semesters, which are completed during the training and, finally, two full-time semesters. The advantage here is that you will receive credit for essential contents of your education towards your programme. In the training-integrated section, the courses are offered alongside your training. They may be held on lessons-free afternoons or on individual weekends. In addition to vocational training, the associated workload can be mastered very well. After completion of the training and obtaining the state recognition and the professional permit as a physiotherapist, the full-time section follows. The aim of the course is to gain an academic specialisation, to learn about current research topics on diagnostic and therapeutic focuses and to be able to critically assess them. The Bachelor’s degree programme in Physiotherapy consolidates expertise in the fields of neurology and sports science, sports physiotherapy and sports medicine, prevention and rehabilitation.
