The Teaching Qualification subject German can also be studied in combination with the compulsory subject French in an integrated German-French Degree course with bi-national degree (start of studies at WiSe recommended, see https://www.studium.uni-mainz.de/internationale-masterstudiengaenge/).\; The University Mainz offers the Bachelor's degree course starting in the fifth study semester or the Master of Education exclusively for Teaching at Grammar schools. Prospective students can familiarise themselves with the subject during a taster day (www.studium.uni-mainz.de/schnuppertage).
