The French / Lettres modernes degree course can only be studied in combination with the subjects German / Allemand, English / Anglais, Philosophy, History Histoire or Geography / Géographie in the German - French course (further information at www.dijon.uni-mainz.de). Prospective students can familiarise themselves with the subject during a taster day (www.studium.uni-mainz.de/schnuppertage).

It is assumed that the students have very good active and passive French language skills that enable them to take written and oral exams in French.
