Target group
The aim of the Master's degree course is to prepare students for highly-qualified careers in industry and research. In practice, Computer Science as a methodical science is often not an end in itself, but is used as the solution to problems in different application scenarios which come from very different disciplines. Therefore computer scientists are increasingly expected to rapidly learn about new disciplines. The aim of the course is to prepare students for inter-disciplinary cooperation. To do this, a specialisation is acquired in addition to the core informatics and through example, a demonstration is given of how computer science methods can help in these applications.
