University admission also possible through school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education (Abitur) or a degree from a university of applied sciences or - a Master Craftsperson's examination - are a (state-certified) Technician - are a Business Economist (e.g. VWA - Academy of Administration and Economics) - are a Business Economist in Health Insurance - have completed vocational training related to the degree and have worked in this profession for at least three years - have basic vocational training in the healthcare sector and further training as a specialist (e.g. intensive care) In addition to the aforementioned entrance qualifications, there are numerous other educational paths to a degree.
