Admission requirements
- Proof of completion of a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering or another relevant Bachelor's or Diploma degree at a German university or a degree from a foreign university, which is at least equivalent to the one mentioned above - A final grade in the relevant degree course of at least "good" (2.5), in the case of an academic degree obtained abroad a grade of at least equivalent or alternatively "A" or "B" according to the ECTS grade scale - Proof of good to very good basic knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering, especially product development - Proof of practical experience in an engineering role, usually provided by completing a practical phase integrated into the preceding degree course or by professional work as an engineer. - Exceptions to the minimum grade are specified in the Examination Regulations

No tuition fees are charged. The semester fee is EUR 326.92. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
