The Bachelor's degree course in Psychology is offered at the HMU Health Faculty with an academic degree and has a strong scientific and methodological focus. The Bachelor's degree course in Psychology takes into account the professional requirements under Art. 9 of the Psychotherapists Act with the minimum requirements for university teaching and practical assignments and thus qualifies for the Master´s degree programme in Psychotherapy. The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Integration and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg has confirmed that the professional requirements have been met in accordance with the provisions of the PsychThG and the PsychThApprO. This means that the bachelor's degree course in psychology is recognised by professional law. The Bachelor's degree course in Psychology is a scientific course of study that leads to a first professional qualification, the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) after a standard period of study of six semesters. In the summer semester of 2023, HMU will commence university activities in the heart of Thuringia. This will be a modern, new campus, offering the best conditions for an optimal learning and working atmosphere.
Admission requirements
