Subject-related and practical study sections. The first theoretical study section is followed by basic riot-police training. The basic training and the subsequent basic internship in the individual police service are followed by two further study sections with theoretical content. In the subsequent specialised internship, students serve at a police department, a police station or in a criminal investigation department.
Admission requirements
Training within the administration. No direct application to the university. Studies commence in mid-February and early.09.of each year. Applications have to be addressed to the responsible training authorities. In the so-called 'Vorbereitungsdienst' (preparatory stage of training) only those who fulfil the legal requirements for the appointment can be recruited to the civil service. Information regarding the additional appointment requirements (school education, maximum age, etc.), the application deadlines and the application documents to be submitted can be found on the web pages of the educational authorities.
