The first year of study is decentralised at the federal and state levels - except for the one-month introductory study phase, which has taken place at DHPol since the 2016 curriculum. Students spend the second year of their studies centrally at the DHPol in Münster.

Direct enrolment in the Master’s programme is not possible. Only state and federal police officers are admitted to the programme.
