Admission requirements
BA with main subject Ethnology (at least 120 credit points) or minor subject Ethnology (at least 60 credit points) or (for the following, subject to other conditions as necessary) an equivalent recognised academic degree in a related subject area with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters/3 years (e.g. History, Cultural Studies, Regional Studies, Religious Studies, Law, Social Sciences). The examination committee decides on the recognition and comparability of qualifications.Proof of command of English and another foreign language at least to level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Proof of a level of particular aptitude:Bachelor's degree (60%), letter of motivation (20%) and application colloquium (20%) Applicants with a foreign higher education entrance qualification must also provide proof of an adequate command of German in accordance with DSH regulations.
