Annotation

From the very first semester, our Bachelor's degree course in Mechanical Engineering takes a practice-focused approach – with numerous laboratory offers, in small groups and in a personal learning atmosphere. You can choose between the four specialisations Automotive Engineering, Digitalisation, Design and Calculation or Production and Manufacturing. Our dual study variant offers you the "plus" that you apply the knowledge you have acquired at the university directly in practical work at the partner company during the lecture-free periods, thus gaining practical experience. Through this close interlinking of theory and practice, you will qualify twice. In addition, you will be remunerated for working at the company. As a graduate you can work in very different fields of mechanical engineering: for example, as a developer of electric motors in the automotive sector, as a designer in the consumer goods sector, as a planner of large production plants or as a calculation engineer in the simulation sector. The career prospects are excellent!
